I am a filmmaker. I primarily utilize digital filmmaking strategies to create my art. I received my undergraduate degree in film studies and documentary film/video production from Hampshire College in Amherst. For the past 15 years I have been utilizing my skills to create representational video work for corporate entities. My job has also allowed me to do some experimental things with variable frame rates and time lapse photography. From an artistic standpoint, I was initially intrigued by experimental non-linear editing techniques. I was focused on creating experimental video works in post-production. Within the past few years, my artistic focus has switched to the manipulation of acquisition techniques, and the creation of video installation art.
I am currently enrolled as a candidate in the MFA Visual Studies Program at NSU. This site is a place where my work and progress can be viewed.
